Lori's statement doesn't make sense because 8 is a factor of 80. 80÷8=10. Also, just because the number doesn't end in 0 doesn't mean it's not a factor of another number.

Her statement does not make sense because 8 x 10 = 80 so that proves that 8 is a factor of 80.
