If the core of a supernova explosion contains three or more solar masses of matter, the core will most likely become a black hole. Black holes form when stars explode, and create these areas of such intense gravitational fields that absolutely nothing can escape them if they approach a black hole. Anything near a black hole will disappear without a trace and possibility of ever being found.Although we still don't know much about black holes, we certainly know that nothing can survive the impact.
