Some forests fires are beneficial because some floral species exhibit fire adaptations which means that these species requires seeds to sprout. Species such as Pine, Eucalyptus, Banksia have cones or fruits which are sealed with resins. These cones and fruits can only open to release their seeds after the resin gets melted with fire.
