The area formula of a triangle is

b×h2 The height of the triangle is 0.8cm. So 0.8cm divided by 2 equals 0.4.

Now that you know what the height divided by 2 is, you can substitute numbers for variables.

The next thing you need to do is this. 2.4×0.4=? The answer you should get is 0.96...therefore
2.4×0.4=0.96

Does that help?
