What would happen if there was a hole in the septum of the heart?

The human would not be able to breath, therefore they would die without immediate surgery. Hope this helped.

The septum is the wall that separates the left and right sides of the heart. If there is a hole in the wall between the two ventricles, it is called a ventricular septal defect (VSD).
