the conversions and formulas system, and then think that one yard equals three feet and think you would work this out by trying to cancel the feet to get miles. Using 1.5 feet x 1 mile/5280 feet will cancel out the
feet

Well, there are 3 feet in a yard so you can just divide the number of yards by 3.
