The Sea that is famously shrinking is the Aral Sea - that is the correct answer. When both Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were parts of the Soviet Union, the central government decided to use the water from the rivers leading to the Aral Sea for irrigation and as a result the sea shrunk.
