Flies have laid eggs on the body of a dead opossum. The fly eggs hatched in the larvae you see here. Soon the larvae stopped growing and did not develop into flies. Explain why this happened

A larva that is being removed from water is expected to die. The water specifically the standing ones, is where the larva swim and fed on rotten materials within. The absence of an important element in the completion of the mosquito's life cycle is a smart way to prevent the rise of mosquito population.
