What do two sugar isomers have in common

The thing that two sugar isomers have in common are their molecular formula. All isomers are compounds which have the same molecular formula but are actually made up of different structures - so for example although glucose and fructose have the exact same molecular formula, they are structured very differently which leads to them being very different types of sugar.
