minus 4 x from both sides
11x+6=-5
minus 6 from each side
11x=-11
divide by 11
x=-1

15x + 6 = 4x - 5
Subtract 4x from each side: 11x + 6 = -5
Subtract 6 from each side : 11x = -11
Divide each side by 11:
x = -1
