Georgia played a significant role during America's participation in World War I (1917-18). The state was home to more training camps than any other state and, by the war's end, it had contributed more than 100,000 men and women to the war effort.

And 3 ways how Georgia support ww1?
Railroads in Georgia carried arms, ammunition, and soldiers to parts where ships waited to sail to Europe. Georgia's farmers grew food crops, grew tobacco, grew vegetables, and carried livestock, etc. that really helped the war.
