The food chain is what your talking about and there are the producers, primary consumers, secondary consumers, tertiary consumers and decomposers. The producers is stuff like grass, plants and anything else that can make its own food. Then the primary consumers eat the producers and then the secondary consumers eat the primary consumers and then the tertiary consumers eat the primary consumers and finally the decomposers break down dead plants or animals
