Not only does smoking affect your lungs, causing breathing complications, but it does also affect your heart with an increase risk of heart failure. As people continue smoking, they realize contrasting symptoms. Some of the symptoms are uneven heart beating, high blood pressure (increase of a stroke happening), and the increasing of the heart rate. The nicotine in a cigarette is critical as well. They bring a great deal of the person smoking to have a stroke, blood clot, or heart attack.

Cigarette smoking increases the risk of coronary heart disease by itself. When it acts with other factors, it greatly increases risk. Smoking increases blood pressure, decreases exercise tolerance and increases the tendency for blood to clot.
I hope I helped! =D
