Ribosomes synthesize proteins, and mitochondrion convert chemical energy in foods, and those two aren't where hereditary information is stored. The Golgi apparatus changes and packages proteins for export, so that isn't correct. The Nucleus is the cell structure that stores hereditary information and manages cell growth/reproduction.
