The statement which says that the major contributing causes of mental health disorders are environmental conditions and situations is false. Although environmental conditions and situations are recognized as part of the factors that caused mental disorders but they are not the major contributing causes. The major contributing causes are genetic factors, biological factors and psychological factors.
