A culture that places a high value on traditional gender roles that favor men would be classified as a Patriarchal Society. This is an environment with which most decisions, men are generally superior. The opposite of a Patriarchal Society is called Matriarchal Society, with which females or women are more dominantly making big decisions for the people.
