Compare the blood in the arteries going out to the body cells with the blood in veins coming back to the heart from body cells.

The blood in the arteries going out the body cells contains mostly oxygen or sometimes bacteria but the blood in the veins coming back to the heart from body cells contains more of the stomach areas such as little food particle.

The blood going out from the arteries is full of oxgyen.It delievers that oxgyen to organs,therefore when it returns in the veins it contains carbon dioxide.
