The quotient is an answer to a division problem, so basically you just have to do the fractional division indicated by the fraction itself. The fraction bar literally means "divided by"... so the fraction literally reads
33 divided by 6,789.

To divide, you have to add a decimal to 33 and then add some zero's until you have enough to do the math (33.00000). You can add as many zero's as you want and it doesn't change the value of 33.
