Cells cannot just be created out of nothing. Most cells in living organisms multiply by Mitosis. This process starts with 1 cell and splits into 2 new cells. Firstly, a single cell increases in size. it then replicates and copies everything that is inside it, like DNA. the cell then splits in 2, creating 2 identical new cells.
