The main difference between bacterial chromosomes and eukaryotic ones is that eukaryotes have linear chromosomes. How does the shape of the chromosome affect the way it is replicated?

Comparing to circular bacterial chromosomes, in Eukaryotas replication is unidirectional and there are more than one origins of replication.
Also in linear chromosome there are telomeres at the end of the chromosomes and there is specific process for their replications and in the
circular chromosomes, there are no telomeres.
