False. There can be vegetation present within the alpine biome. The alpine biome is a rough place for plants to live. There are some plants that adopted the severe climate of the Alpine Biome. These plants are mostly to reproduce and to grow slowly. The vegetation of the alpine is composed of five types; tundras, meadows, shrub, thickets,woodlands.
