The Magna Carta was a document written by British nobles to the King because they were unhappy with his law-breaking actions. Many of the laws in the Magna Carta were considered unfair in the modern age, and most of the 63 clauses are not in use today. Three are, though. One that states the rights and liberties of the English Church, another that confirms the rights and liberties of London and other English towns, and the last, the says no one can be imprisoned without doing anything, that can be proven by law, wrong.
