Just take the number of blocks there are and divide them amongst the number of people sharing the blocks.

For 5 people sharing 2 blocks:

2/5

For 6 people sharing 5 blocks:

5/6

How could you represent the division as a fraction if 5 people shared 2 blocks? If 6 people shared 5 blocks?
