The United States sent forces to what area of the world in the mid 1990's to stop ethnic cleansing to Yugoslavia or Bosnia. “Ethnic cleansing” is the attempts to rid off unfavored ethnic group through deportation, displacement or even mass killing, to create a homogeneity of a certain area. This was popularized during 1990’s during the breakage of Yugoslavia.
