If I have a negative number to the second power, will the answer be negative or positive? I also have to do this to the third power, forth power, and fifth power!! I will rate you good if you answer all!

2nd is -x- so plus
Third is -x-x- so negative

Any odd power of a negative number is negative
Any even power of a negative number is positive.
