Fossil fuels are an important natural resource used by society because it makes our living easier. Fossil fuel is buried combustible geologic deposits of organic materials fromed from the plants and animals that have died. The dead beings are then converted to crude oil, coal, natural gas or heavy oils when exposed under heat and great pressure in the earth.
