it is the Small intestine (ENZYMES) Maltase sucrase, lactase break down remaining Disaccharides into monosaccharides.

The answer is the stomach. This is where the enzymes that breaks these things down into amino acids are found. Once they are broken down to become amino acids, they are then take in to the small intestine where they are further converted.
