The formula of the perimeter of a rectangle is equal to:
Perimeter = 2L + 2W

Forming the equation.
Perimeter = 2L + 2W
17.6 = 2L + 2W

Getting the lengths.
17.6 = 2L + 2W
2L = 17.6 - 2W
L = (17.6 - 2W) / 2

17.6 = 2L + 2W
2W = 17.6 - 2L
W = (17.6 - 2L) / 2
