If both Eric and Frank want to equally share 4/3 feet of a rope, then they should cut the rope in the very middle (divide it into two equal pieces):

4/3 รท 2 =
= 4/3 * 1/2 =
= 4/6 =
= 2/3

Answer: Eric and Frank should get 2/3 feet of the rope each.

PS: Just remember that you divide a fraction by another fraction (2/1 in this case), you need to multiply the first fraction by an inverse of the second one.
