Answer: A. Fickle

The character of the nurse in Romeo and Juliet can best be described as fickle. She loves Juliet, and truly desires her happiness. However, she changes her mind often. She even contradicts herself in mid-sentence. Moreover, when Juliet is already married to Romeo (a match the nurse contributed to) she encourages her to still marry Paris, as he is a better match.
