How is the use of amphetamines different from the use of inhalants?

For starters, amphetamines are classed as stimulants (faster heart beat + pulse, while inhalants can be both classified as stimulants or depressants, which produce similar effects to alcohol. Inhalants can also cause immediate brain damage, while amphetamines do not.

amphetamines stimulate the central nerveous system while inhalants rapidly kill brain cells giving the illusion of a high.
