Answer with explanation:

Jean add two numbers , 35 and 9.

Suppose we can write this in word problem as,→There are two trees,A and B, one has 35 mangoes on it and another bears 9 mangoes.How many mangoes are in all?

Solution:

Number of mangoes on tree A=35

Number of mangoes on tree B=9

total number of mangoes on both the trees is given by,x, by the equation

x= A + B

x= 35 +9

x=44

We have used here two operation , =(equality sign), and , +(addition).
