Did amphibians evolve from reptiles?

This cannot be possible because reptiles have scales on their bodies, and amphibians don't instead they either have bumpy or smooth skin. There are still amphibians today like the frog and toad. There are also reptiles like the crocodile or the alligator

No. why because : Reptiles evolved from amphibians. Reptiles evolved from amphibians when a group became more accustomed to living on land and began laying their eggs on land rather than in water.
