Two snakes race the speed of the first is 24 1/2 inches per minute and the speed of the other is 26 inches per minute how far apart with they be in 3 min? 10 min?

In 3 min = 4 1/2

10 min = 15

If you multiply both of the snakes speed by the specific amount of minutes and then subtract both of the sums you'll get the answer :)
