If you mean 'she' wants to buy 2/4 of the candy bars at the store and there are 12 candy bars in the store then:
2/4 is the same as 1/2
Half of 12? 6
She would buy 6 candy bars.

2/4 of the candy bars at the store and there where 12 candy bars, how many would she buy
