jar one contains soil that is mostly sand. jar two contains the sameamount of soil, but is mostly clay justin pours the same amount of water into each jar. In which jar will the water level be higher?

it should be jar one because clay absorbs water which in terms mean the water lvl will be smaller in jar 2. jar one will have the higher amount of water in it because it's just soil.

I believe Jar 1 will have a higher water level because Jar 2 contains clay, which will most likely absorb most of the water.
