In Dante's inferno the gluttonus are punished with the opposite on which they indulged on. On earth they over ate and over drank the finest of foods in comfortable places. Therefore for their sin of gluttony they are punished with having to eat filth and disgusting things as well as living in it for all eternity.

Hope this helps! If you have any other questions or would like further explanation just let me know! :)
