The correct answer is letter C. The flood plains around the Ganges and Brahmaputra Rivers support agriculture needed to sustain large populations. The rivers were a huge factor in making the soil fertile for agriculture, this was a great leap for human history because we have shifted from hunting and gathering to domestication and agriculture. It made our lives easier and it supported a lot of people in large communities.
