I would say yes this would be true.

If you have reason to believe you or someone you may know may have a mental disorder it's always good to check up with a trusted adult to discuss it.

This is definitely True
It is highly important to be able to discuss concerns about mental health to a trusted adult as mental health that goes untreated is more likely to take longer to recover from, also could potentially leave long term effects on the person.
While mental illnesses are often difficult to discuss or bring up with anyone, it is highly important to seek professional help from either a doctor, GP, or specialist (psychologist or psychiatrist) - these professionals are able to assist in the recovery process, and could possibly recommend anti-depressant tablets, or hospitalisation (in the worse cases)
