Anyone know how to do this kind of algebra?

Compute the discriminants of the next two quadratic equations. Compare the result in (A) to that in (B). What do you observe from the comparison?
(A) 3x^{2} + 5x+ 1 = 0
(B) 3x^{2} −5x+ 1 = 0
Can someone explain this one?

\Delta_A=5^2-4\cdot3\cdot1=25-12=13\\ \Delta_B=(-5)^2-4\cdot3\cdot1=25-12=13\\

Both discriminants are equal.
