Ethanol is produced by yeast under anaerobic respiration.
When Glucose is converted into 2 Pyruvic acid yeast converts this into 2 Ethanol and 2 Carbon Dioxide
C6H1206 + yeast -> 2C2H50H + 2CO2
it is also referred to as fermentation.
