Perimeter of quadrant of a circle

Best Answer: the circumference of a circle is 2πr (where r= radius)
The arc length of a quadrant of a circle is a quarter of thecircumference, i.e. πr/2.
There are also the lengths of the 2 straight sides of the quadrant, and their lengths are both r. so the Perimeter of a quadrant= 2r + (πr/2)
