y= x12.5 + 100

y= the amount in the account

x= the week number

The number of months do not madder so long as you keep adding the same each month.

Easy, writing it in y=mx+b form,

You have $100

you're increasing it by 12.50 each month.

m=slope, b= initial value.

Thus, y=12.50x+100, is your linear equation.
