So
C
is the unknown, so what you're really trying to find out is what plus 3 equals 6. so that's easy, split 6 into 3 and 3, and your answer is 3.
Or just subtract 6 by 3, 6-3 is 3. hope it helped

c+3=6. Step 1: Subtract 3 from both sides. c+3−3=6−3. c=3.
