a roller coaster can carry 36 people per run. How many times does the roller coast have to run to allow at least 10,000 people to ride?

per run = 36 ppl

10000/36 = 277.7 = 277 runs

Basically:

(10,000 divided by 36) then round to the next higher and whole number

Here:

10,000 divided by 36 = 277.777777778
So you have to round to nearest whole number

The answer is just 277.77777778 rounded to the next, whole number
