So,

We know the formula for the area of a circle is:


A=\pi r^2

All we have to do is to substitute the given value and simplify.


A=\pi (12)^2


A=\pi (144)\ or\ 144\pi

In numerical form, it would be 452.389342 or approximately 452.4 in.²

The area is 452.39 Hint : If you know the radius of a circle , you can use it to find the area of what that circle . Just plug that value into the formula for the area of a circle and solve . I hope that's help !
