(for science) how does gravity effect the movement of plates of mid-ocean ridges?

it affect by moving the oceans like when u through something it fall at the ground that how gravity works it makes thing stay down in the ground if in the earth we have less gravity we were floating right now.lol the same thing occur or affect with ocean ridges

Here let me help plate motion is driven by the higher elevation of plates at ocean ridges so as the oceanic (i don't know how to spell it lithophere i think i has an s) is formed at spreading ridges from the hot mantle.
