What are some of your thoughts about the life of Mary Shelley, the events that happened in her novel, and its themes such as parental responsibilities (or creator to creature) and mankind using science to manipulate nature?

Like the character in her book Mary also experienced many hardships such as being ostracized and being rejected due to her relationship with Percy. On theme of parenting, it was quite clear that Frankenstein should not have created the creature that looked to him as a father. The creature was misunderstood and was rejected by the people and he blamed Frankenstein for that like a child abandoning her father.
