E. structure

The structure of a play or story has to deal with its organization. Structure refers to the introduction, types or conflicts presented, the elements of rising action, the climax, the falling action, all followed with the denouement (or resolution). You can think of structure as the sequence of events/happenings within the play.

The design or the pattern of a play is called the structure.

All other mentioned terms correspond to other parts of play-writing, some things referring to actors, some to the play itself.
