The desert biome is the driest where common floras are cacti, and faunas are snakes and lizards. This is commonly seen as a barren area of land where rain rarely occurs. The living conditions within this biome is very hostile for both plant and animal life. Animals survive by hiding under rocks and soil to protect themselves from the excessive heat of the sun.
